Women’s Development & Wellbeing
The
Women’s Development & Wellbeing programme adopts a holistic approach to strengthen the social, educational, and economic status of women, enabling them to lead healthy, dignified, and self-reliant lives. The programme focuses on addressing structural barriers while building women’s capacities through the following key interventions:
1. Adult Literacy and Awarness

Through various projects, promotes functional literacy, numeracy, and awareness among adult women to enhance their confidence, decision-making abilities, and participation in family and community life. Sessions also focus on health, legal awareness, digital literacy, Financial literacy and access to government schemes.
2. Vocational Skill Building
Women are supported with market-relevant vocational skills aligned to local opportunities. Training emphasises practical skills, employability, and income generation, complemented by life skills, financial literacy, and workplace readiness.
3. Menstural Equity
This intervention addresses menstrual health and hygiene through awareness, access to safe and affordable menstrual products, and the reduction of stigma. It focuses on improving health outcomes, school and workplace participation, and dignity for women and adolescent girls.
3. Enterpreneurship Development
The programme nurtures women-led enterprises by strengthening entrepreneurial skills such as business planning, financial management, marketing, and digital tools. Linkages with credit, markets, and mentoring networks enable women to build sustainable livelihoods and long-term economic resilience.
