PATANGI 2025 | Children’s Festival Across Four Locations

YCDA successfully celebrated PATANGI – 2025, the Children’s Festival, across four locations — Puintala and Belpada in Bolangir district, and Mundapada and Burogora in Boudh district. The festival created a vibrant platform for children to explore, express, and celebrate their creativity. A Unified Celebration of Joy, Talent and Learning At all four venues, children came together to participate in a wide range of activities that showcased their skills, confidence, and imagination. The environment was filled with colour, enthusiasm and high energy as children engaged in performances, exhibitions, art, games, and other creative expressions. Dignitaries from education and allied departments graced the celebrations and appreciated the talents displayed by the children. Their presence motivated and encouraged young participants to continue exploring their potential. YCDA Belpada has been honoured with the Award for Best Facilitating Agency

On the occasion of District Level Mandia Dibas, Balangir, under the Shree Anna Abhiyan Project, YCDA Belpada has been honoured with the Award for Best Facilitating Agency (FA). Additionally, Ms. Kuntula Dharua from Kandhenjhula Village, Belpada Block has been nominated for Best Millet Farmer.

YCDA is pleased to share a moment of great pride from the District Level Millet Celebration Day, organised by the Agricultural and Farmers Empowerment Department, Boudh, Odisha.
Under the Shree Anna Abhiyan, the Matrushakti Women Farmers Producer Company Ltd., Kantamal, has been honoured with the awards for Best Facilitating Agency (FA) and Best Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO).

Anemia-Free Campaign

Anemia-Free Campaign YCDA, in partnership with the Desai Foundation Trust, is conducting Anemia Testing and Treatment Camps across Bolangir and Boudh districts. This initiative is designed to improve community health by ensuring timely screening, treatment and awareness on anemia. Ensuring Access to Testing and Treatment Through these camps, community members are encouraged to get tested for anemia and, where needed, receive appropriate treatment and guidance. The initiative focuses on:

Early detection of anemia
Providing necessary medication and treatment
Raising awareness on nutrition and healthy practices
Encouraging families to prioritize their health

Building a Healthier Community The campaign highlights the importance of preventing and managing anemia to improve overall well-being. By promoting regular testing and accessible treatment, YCDA aims to support healthier lives for women, adolescents and the larger community.
