Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator ensures that BNI’s community mental health and development programme implemented effectively in the field. This involves working with and strengthening the capacity of the field team and other key stakeholders to create a supportive environment for person with mental illness for their re-integration It involves raising community awareness on issues of mental health and psychological well-being and building the capacity of the individuals, families and the community to provide necessary care for person with mental illness.   Your responsibilities includes the following”  
  • Responsible for the implementation of the set objectives and the expected output and outcomes in the field area.
  • Support field work officers in monitoring community facilitators and ensure treatment and reintegration of identified PWMIs through community facilitators and Family support groups (FSGs).
  • Conducting monthly review meetings of the team and conducting inputs sessions every month
  • Promotion and strengthening of FSGs and linking FSGs with disable groups, women self-help groups and health movements.
  • To support and be a supervision for field works officers and community volunteers and in building their capacity to carry out the assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate the linkages with local governance and other stakeholders as required, towards the affected groups to access their entitlements.
  • To provide the required data, reports, case studies, photos, videos and other information with proper written consents from PWMI/Family members to BNI to report to Donor.
  • Facilitate the process of asserting with Government authorities through FSGs-Block and District Level Alliance.
  • Responsible for the through data feeding in GOONJAN application at partner level and report generation.
  • Conduct the staff capacity building training sessions with inputs from BNI and IQs.

Responsibilities
The Project Officer – Education will be responsible for implementing school-based interventions to improve learning outcomes, promote child participation, and strengthen life skills and career readiness among adolescents. The role involves close coordination with schools, community stakeholders, and local governance bodies to address educational challenges, support infrastructure and capacity building, monitor programs, and ensure effective documentation and sustainability. The position demands strong community engagement, program implementation, and child protection awareness.
  • Identification of schools and mapping the issues in consultation with the VDC, MSC, and concerned school teachers. Regular meeting with them and apprise the work.
  • Responsible for working with schools and adolescents at the community level to build their capacity on life skills and career guidance, youth employment guidance.
  • Responsible for counselling and increase learning ability by working closely with parents, schools, teachers and committee members.
  • Responsible for monitoring of various programs, events at schools levels as well as after school study programs.
  • Responsible for helping the children and youth access government scholarships and other educational support.
  • Responsible for implementation of programs in school levels to strengthen their infrastructure and closely work on promotional activities of schools.
  • Responsible for arranging the capacity building training programs with teachers, SMC s and the stakeholders.
  • Responsible organizing and supporting competitions, events, celebrations of national and internationals day’s exposure visits, tours etc. after school study centres.
  • Ensures innovative ways in promoting child welfare and child protection in families and in communities.
  • Ensure proper process documentation of the activities before and after implementation of the school programme for further reference.
  • Ensure case studies, photographs and other documents for further use.
  • Coordination with different line departments and district administration to ensure easy hand over process for further maintenance and sustainability of the programme
  • Coordination with team for effective implementation of the programme and dissemination of information properly with in the team.
  • Ensures the knowledge about the child protection policy and child protection mechanisms, government’s current education initiatives.
  • Responsible for addressing the school levels problems like dropouts, absenteeism etc.

The Block Coordinator ensures that TFAT programme implemented effectively in the field. This involves working with and strengthening the capacity of the field team and other key stakeholders to create a supportive environment, promoting meaningful child participation and strengthening the children and communities.   The Block Coordinator will have the following responsibilities”  
  • Responsible for the implementation of the set objectives and the expected output and outcomes
  • To support and be a supervision for field works officers and community volunteers and in building their capacity to carry out the assigned tasks.
  • Support and design the child centric education initiatives including the remedial support
  • Liaise with Schools, VLCWPC, SMC, and other key stakeholders to improved learning outcomes.
  • Monitor attendance, learning achievements ensuring no child is left behind
  • Facilitate the capacity building of the Children’s group, clubs etc.
  • Conduct awareness session and training sessions for adults and other stakeholders on child right and overall well-being.
  • Preparation of monthly/ quarterly/annual planning with consultation of project manager
  • Building good working relationship with various service delivery structure statutory bodies and local authority
  • Conducting monthly review meetings of the team and conducting inputs sessions every month
  • Maintain documentation of case studies, success stories, and best practices
  • Maintain records and reports properly.
  • Attending the meeting with other NGO and government.
  • Facilitate the linkages with local governance and other stakeholders as required, towards the affected groups to access their entitlements.
