With COVID-19 hitting the lives of people so hard, education was not spared either! Looking in to the necessity of children not to be deprived from learning, YCDA has identified volunteers in the community who conduct regular remedial/ tuition classes for the children. Additionally, we also encourage teachers to reach out to the villages and conduct group learning in non-containment zones adhering to strict COVID protocols of face masks and social distancing.

YCDA has also facilitated with laptops where the teacher is remotely connected with the children with help of the educated village youth volunteers. This model has been very successful and we have been able to reach over 380 children across 18 villages at the moment.
